DATI RELATIVI AGLI ISOLAMENTI DI BATTERI ENTEROPATOGENI EFFETTUATI DA CASI CLINICI UMANI, DA CAMPIONI DI ORIGINE ANIMALE, ALIMENTARE E AMBIENTALE NELL'ANNO 2020 NELLA REGIONE MARCHE

Abstract This report shows data on strains of enteropathogenic bacteria isolated from human, animals, food and environment cases in the year 2020 in Marche Region. A total of 247 Salmonella, 62 Campylobacter, 10 Listeria and 1 Cronobacter sakazakii isolated from cases of human infection have been sent to CRRPE of Tolentino in relation to the Enter-Net surveillance network. At the same time, a total of 431 Salmonella, 62 Listeria and 13 Campylobacter isolated from non-human cases have been analyzed at CRRPE of Tolentino. Regarding isolates of human origin, the frequency, the distribution in different age groups, the rate of hospitalization, the source of isolation, the probable association with food are detailed. The non-human isolates are categorized by origin and source of isolation. This report also shows results of antimicrobial susceptibility testing performed on all strains of Salmonella of human and non-human origin.
