Abstract The authors regret that the printed version of the above article contained an incorrect bibliographic reference in the Materials and methods section. The correct reference for Salmonella spp. genus-specific real-time PCR is: Amagliani et al., 2010. It is important to note that this change does not impact the main conclusion of the article.
